Okia is a Huron Indian lady I met while I was painting at a Chateau in the Anjou region of France! She used to come to the Chateau every year and do a summer camp for the children where she taught them all about the ways of the Huron Indians of Quebec. I learned all about Dream weavers from her! She commissioned this painting of herself in full native regalia!
